Botox, Dysport, Xeomin & Letybo

Four wrinkle relaxers, compared

If you have started looking into wrinkle relaxers, you have probably noticed there is more than one, and they are not all the same. We carry all four at Skin Bar OKC. They work in a similar way, relaxing the muscles that create expression lines, but each has its own personality.

Botox is the one most people know. It is predictable and natural, and it typically lasts about 3–4 months. Dysport kicks in a little faster with a soft finish, which makes it a nice choice for larger areas like the forehead. Xeomin is the “pure” option with no added proteins, which may lower the chance of building resistance over time. Letybo is the newest of the four and has one of the fastest onsets, often within a day or two.

Which one is right for you comes down to your anatomy, your goals, and how your body responds. That is what we figure out together at a complimentary consultation with Tracey Lewis, RN, BSN.
